Day One. Let's Go Shopping!
Jewelry and rum are the big items to buy in the
shopping district, but just about everything is available.
We learned as the cruise ships are ready to leave, the bargains
begin! |

This is the view from the café we stopped for lunch on
our first day out. We stayed just a few blocks from the harbor and
the heart of the shopping district. |

Most items were imported, but you could find local arts
and crafts. |

The warehouses are all shops and restaurants now, but the walls are
made of mostly of coral, not brick or stone. |
